Unless you went to Prep, you don’t know.

No dog in this fight, but wow. Good school and all, but the self-reverance is pretty amazing here.

Not hard to see that the Prep 2024 class is by far the most talented in the DMV this year

This is absolutely true regarding good lacrosse players and bad test scores at Prep and I do have at least one pretty recent example but I would not name the name of this child. So please don’t pretend Prep is some sort of academic beacon let’s be serious.

Given Prep has now kids going to TAMPA to play lacrosse, that shows you the academic standards have dropped.

That’s an odd one, for sure, unless there’s some weird transfer portal strategy.

Tampa is the top D2 lax program and great weather and campus. What is odd is adults commenting on someone they do not know. Very sad.

It’s embarrassing how many of Preps 2024s have already turned 19!

The physical maturity gap will level off this Spring!

Sorry mom. He’s a good player. Could have aimed much higher, but it is a good party school.

Prep is likely tougher academically than Bullis, Episcopal, DeMatha, Gonzaga, and Good Counsel. Academically Prep is equal to or slightly worse than Landon, but Prep does have that Latin requirement. Prep is comfortably behind St. Albans and Sidwell as an academic institution.

When you bring in 125 boys as freshmen in a relatively competitive admissions market, you get some high quality wheat and some serious chaffe.

Lacrosse players do not need tough academics to succeed. No one cares. SJC is still top dawg deal with it.

Prep top academic schools placement
2021: Amherst, Penn, Navy, Notre Dame (2), Bowdoin
2022: Navy, UVA, Bowdoin
2023: Princeton (2), Army, Georgetown
2024: Georgetown, Duke, Notre Dame, Hopkins
2025 so far: Penn, UNC

This looks fine to me.

This should be made into T-Shirts. This might be the best post I’ve ever read on here.

Lenoir-Rhyne won the D2 title last season. So that would make them the top program until somebody else wins or they repeat. And they split the season series with Tampa. So, nice try.
