BOTH
Billions word play is amazing Billons first then Succession |
| I like Billions better. Succession is more of a downer. Plus Paul Giamatti is so brilliant. |
| DH and I love Billions. |
| Succession. No contest. |
|
I can't get through Succession, but love Billions. Succession is such a downer, everyone is a mess except Siobhan (who I do like) and it all just stresses me.
I think the difference is that Billions is a little . . . campier, maybe? More fun. Even when people are being ruthless there is a campier energy to it. |
You mean Billions. |
|
Is this a joke or paid astroturfing? Billions has become the corniest show on TV, such a cringe fest. The dialogue is painful - the annoying shrink and how many times can you have the the bisexual vs Bobby vs fat lawyer go at each other? The show should have ended several seasons ago.
Yellowstone is far better than both. Season 3 premiers in June, I think? |
+1 I couldn't get through one episode of Billions. |
| Succession is brilliant satire and a master class in acting. I found Billions to be OTT but not in a clever way. |
Billions has the most absurd plots and dialogue. But they do it so well that I have forgiven them for that. BTW you wouldn't call Mason bisexual, you'd call them non-binary. |
| Love Succession. Couldn’t get into Billions. It’s personal preference- you’ll just need to try both! |
| Billions was good in seasons 1 through maybe 3? But it's been God-awful and super cringey for a while now. The latest two episodes were a chore to get through. We're done with it. Note journalists, esp nytimes writers, tweet out about Billions because it's written and created by their friend Andrew Sorkin. It's corny trash. |
| I'm assuming they fired all their expensive writers because it took a HUGE decline. |
| Billions is so corny, but I’m still watching for some stupid reason. Succession is awesome. |
