Eh. It’s possible to appreciate Meghan without even noticing Kate, or while mildly displaying interest in Kate, or even while applauding Kate as a completely separate person from Meghan with her own priorities and style.

Exactly. I haven't seen the sort of behavior the PP is referring to nearly as much (or at all) as I see it from Kate fans and royalists for whom it seems a considerable part of their identity is tied up with just simply hating Meghan and talking about their hatred 24/7.

You really think they're the ones pushing out the hundreds, if not thousands, of unflattering stories about them? Gullible numpties.

It's more that their PR game is pretty embarrassing. They're represented by Hollywood celebrities' go-to PR agency, Sunshine Sachs, which pushes out fluff pieces about them every other day, but they still can't stem the flow of unflattering stories.

You're proving their point.

I'm the PP you're responding to. My point is that their PR is embarrassing because (1) it's clearly not very effective, despite fact that they're paying $$$ to an agency that is the among the best in the business, and (2) they're trying to keep themselves in the news so desperately (without having any real reason to be) that they're resorting to doing things like telling People that they "privately wished" W&K happy anniversary. If it was a private wish - and they repeatedly ask for privacy - why does People need to know about it?

PP, you seem extremely gullible if you actually believe Meghan and Harry are the ones "leaking" stories about themselves to the press.

Ha, I mean this kindly, but you seem extremely gullible if you think they’re not. It’s to their advantage to keep themselves in the news. There’s not a crazy amount of organic interest in her/the BRF in the US, and in order to get the kind of lucrative deals they want, they need to be well-known, relevant, and remind everyone they’re still royalty. They have nothing to sell otherwise. Why do you think they’re paying Sunshine Sachs?

People (which publishes a flattering story about them every other day) is well known in the industry to work closely with publicists. They’re not going to post unverified and unsanctioned leaks. MM also has a long history of paying/tipping off paparazzi to cover her, which paparazzos themselves have confirmed. That’s what happened with that picture of Archie that was released two weeks ago. His full face is visible and if it were really unauthorized, they would have immediately threatened to sue.

Yeah so do you have any credible sources for your claims?

Denial is a hell of a drug. I know it's scary to admit you might have a problem, but acceptance is the first step!

You guys are the weirdest kind of in-denial self-righteous busybodies. Where are these Kate haters you so desperately want to believe exist?

Do you really need a source? This is how Hollywood works. The Markles hired a big LA PR firm and it’s doing the job it was hired to do. The Meghan pap walk was so beyond obvious, she was even grinning.

As someone who works in entertainment, let me tell you pointblank: You have no idea how the media industry works. Maybe lay off the kool-aid and don't selectively buy into hearsay that fits your preconceived notions about this woman?

+1 Really, who do you think "leaked" the fact that the Meghan sent a wreath the morning of Prince Philips funeral including every type of flower and why it was chosen? Sunshine Sachs works hard for Meghan and Harry. In fact they have ties to many of the charities/activities Harry and Meghan have been a part of in California. This is how this stuff works.

They all leak stuff. Every last member of the royal family. But for some reason it’s only noteworthy when it’s Harry and Meghan. None of these people have any special skills nor are they particularly attractive so they need to spin a tale that appeals to some segment of society.

They all leak through 'palace sources'. The funny thing is Mike Tindall - a periphery royal - has his own weekly podcast where he 'leaks' left, right and center but no complaints on that. Right after Phillip's funeral he was talking about what the Queen said post-ceremony.
