Yeah, these people wouldn't be able to recognize double standards if they slapped them across the face. |
Think Kovind and Modi will be there? |
You don’t know the difference between a tabloid and the BRF? |
Sounds like a great title for a reality show. Wasn’t there one with Caitlin Jenner’s sons called Princes of Beverly Hills or something? At least Harry’s a real prince. ![]() |
You don't know Prince William is always leaking to his sources that he's 'incandescent with rage' every time Harry does anything? We shall see more rage! Tremendous rage. |
I’m so happy for them!
The concert is such a great cause. |
Asking out of genuine curiosity (and as someone who thinks both Harry and Meghan are unduly hated on), but why was he given a standing ovation?
Hope they find genuine peace and support while in America. |
How do you know? Did Meghan tell you? |
Kaiser just knows. |
My theory is this: Americans value genuine emotional connections (even if manipulated by high production values) and also value the rebel. Plus, we are fond of a redemption story and right now, the poor little prince who was forced to march behind his mother's coffin by the evil colonialist cheating father but who has now found love and happiness, well, it's a wonderful story. Add to that that Harry is genuinely charismatic, and, well, you have a superstar. |
Fair. We favor rebellious/imperfect/charismatic over reserved/vanilla/status quo. The difference between Harry & Meghan and William & Kate. Not a judgment call, but it truly illuminates the cultural differences between America and Britain. I really, really hope Harry ends up happy in America (Meghan too, of course). |
