Meghan Markle and Prince Harry News and Updates Part 3

They all leak through 'palace sources'. The funny thing is Mike Tindall - a periphery royal - has his own weekly podcast where he 'leaks' left, right and center but no complaints on that. Right after Phillip's funeral he was talking about what the Queen said post-ceremony.

Yeah, these people wouldn't be able to recognize double standards if they slapped them across the face.

I haven't been following this thread, but came back after about a month and it just makes me sick. It is so nice to have Trump off of the airwaves and newscycles...When can this pair please just do their work without a global 24-7 deluge? Insufferable.

They’re found raising for Covid Vaccines... Are you this pissed at Selena Gomez and J-Lo as well?

DP. Why do you feel the need to defend them? You can’t force or guilt others into liking people they don’t like. Just let people have their opinions. It’s ok.

Why are you so triggered that people like them? And I’m defending them because I think VaxLive is a very worthwhile cause. It’s insanity that Kate stans are pissed they’re participating in a fundraising concert because it’s too close to Kate’s anniversary. Oh no! Covid vaccines are stealing their thunder!

It’s so petty. And it’s so satisfying to call out petty.

DP. Good for them for supporting VaxLive.

The announcement on Archewell, like everything on Archewell, came across as if they invented it, that the concert is their idea. It seems to be how they see themselves. But I'll be generous and just assume that they don't know how to do PR any differently, that they don't actually see themselves that way.

Really?

The Archwell headline literally read: Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Announced as Campaign Chairs for Global Citizen’s “VAX LIVE: The Concert to Reunite the World”

You couldn’t figure out that meant it’s a concert created by Global Citizen?

Mkay

WTF is "Global Citizen?" Last I checked we had countries and not the New World Order. Would never support just based on the name.

LOL

That explains a lot...

Global Citizen is an anti-poverty organization. It’s the type of charity that is commonly referred to as non-profits or NGOs (non-governmental organizations.)

That's double NO then. Unelected bureaucrats and "globalists" are the perfect foils for H&M dastardly duo.

I can’t tell if you’re trolling or if it’s just your MO to double down on stupidity. Anyways, they’re working with the WHO (World Health Organization) on vaccine distribution. Many world leaders are attending LiveVax including Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. I would name others but I doubt you’d recognize Presidents/PMs of other countries.

Thanks for the laughs though! It is a rare person who has simultaneously never heard of international organizations and is also certain they’re part of some nefarious plot.

Think Kovind and Modi will be there?

Standing ovation for the Duke of Sussex at VaxLive. The Royal family has no idea what's about to hit them.

Why would the royal family care?

Standing ovation! So much better than the boos he was getting in England before he left.

Prince of California

When they wake up we'll see. I'm so excited for the half dozen mad headlines the Daily Fail is going to have about this.

You don’t know the difference between a tabloid and the BRF?

Prince of California

Sounds like a great title for a reality show. Wasn’t there one with Caitlin Jenner’s sons called Princes of Beverly Hills or something? At least Harry’s a real prince.

You don't know Prince William is always leaking to his sources that he's 'incandescent with rage' every time Harry does anything? We shall see more rage! Tremendous rage.

I’m so happy for them!

The concert is such a great cause.

Asking out of genuine curiosity (and as someone who thinks both Harry and Meghan are unduly hated on), but why was he given a standing ovation?

Hope they find genuine peace and support while in America.

How do you know? Did Meghan tell you?

My theory is this: Americans value genuine emotional connections (even if manipulated by high production values) and also value the rebel. Plus, we are fond of a redemption story and right now, the poor little prince who was forced to march behind his mother's coffin by the evil colonialist cheating father but who has now found love and happiness, well, it's a wonderful story. Add to that that Harry is genuinely charismatic, and, well, you have a superstar.

Fair. We favor rebellious/imperfect/charismatic over reserved/vanilla/status quo. The difference between Harry & Meghan and William & Kate. Not a judgment call, but it truly illuminates the cultural differences between America and Britain. I really, really hope Harry ends up happy in America (Meghan too, of course).
