SSFS HOS leaving

| New email says (brags?) the search committee they hired also works for…. the org that just hired rg. I give up-it’s clear this is not the community for us. |

The email said they helped them with an executive director search in 2014. That was 10 years and, obviously, before Rodney worked for them. |

| I did miss that date on first glance. Still seems weird and a failure to read the room to include it given the circumstances. It’s not like they were providing an exhaustive list. |

They were including prior Quaker clients. I dont think its strange. Maybe attend the sessions with the search firm and express your concerns. |

They may not know (or care) that RG is employed by the Friends Council now…they should care that the company they hired will do the work to find a good HOS now. |

At first look, this was very annoying and upsetting to me. Everything regarding RG and his decisions will be a trigger for a while. I'm trying to remember that this consulting group didn't hire RG for Friends Council though. I just don't want to hear his name anymore. |

| How are people feeling about the first few days of school at SSFS? Turns out that some parents decided to move their kids really late..all the kids registered for my DC grade did not show up this week..found out they made alternate choices for their kids for this school year but are still showing as registered for the first week..wow |

Troll - these parents are on the hook for paying the full tuition if they withdrew this late, impossible that the entire grade withdrew |

| Going really well here too! LS for us, teachers seem wonderful and enthusiastic, administrators with learning specialists with whom we've spoken seem happy and excited for the start of the year, great class sizes, and kids are really happy. |
