Our team had a camera all last year. We turned it in and the coach said we would get a new one with a different battery or something.

Some of the coaches don't want to be bothered and never picked up their teams camera!

AC Milan also uses Arrowbrook and its terrible. Same complaints as above. I can see why they were able to get permits as it is one of the most distracting environments I've ever seen, and likely low demand.

No idea why they didn't put any travel teams there or why rec teams are also mixed in on the travel fields. Clearly someone high up has been lobbying to reallocate space from travel to rec because we had a lot more practice space last year.

Odd that our fees went up substantially but we are getting a lot less for it.

One of the many reasons we left AC Milan is because of practices at Arrowbrook. Frankly, they felt unsafe.

If the County isn't going to make the field usable, they need to take it out of the rotation of rentable fields.

I asked our TM why our "tournament fee" went up several hundred dollars, but we are playing only 4 tournaments same as last year, and not even doing the State Cup this fall. TM said Herndon did not answer.

Again, as I stated weeks ago. These complaints are happening for years now. The problem is that in April/May, they actually do their job and everyone else goes to tryouts and signs back up. Once HYS has that money and have you locked in, then they go back to doing absolutely nothing for the fall season. They'll sign you up for random, new tournaments that HYS Admin runs, they'll give you whatever field is available while certain teams only will get appropriate space.
Not to mention, the younger age groups barely have enough players per team, they'll still make multiple teams to collect more $$, players will play on 2 different teams just so coaches can have a team to coach.
It's obvious they're also trying to rebuild the rec program so that's why they try to give them "safe" environments while I guess it doesn't matter if the older kids have to be "safe" If it's not safe for 13 year old girls, it's not safe for 14 year old boys

That’s frustrating. Do they have a plan for the team? I know the u19 second team doesn’t have enough players. They had RL players covering in the tournament last weekend. But if you’re already RL, where do you borrow from?

You borrow from the second team and lose all your games is my guess.
