I mean…..that didn’t stop them from trying to do pre encl. That was a joke. Also doesn’t stop clubs like Villareal either. It’s impressive how people around here love to blow money. Herndon will gladly take their money to float the rest of the club.

Adjust to the speed of play? Have you seen these girls’ teams practice or play?? The only difference in coaching or playing between rec and many of the HYS girls teams is the price the parents pay.

Only thing worse than the standard HYS sets for the girls side is the fact that the TD won competitive coach of the year on the girls side. That’s the only thing that’s toped Trump winning the peace award by FIFA.

Of those options, GFR will field at least 3 teams and seems to be the most organized. I believe the tryouts are mostly done though, and I'm not sure if they offer ID sessions. From what I've heard, LE and St. James are small and might not have enough players to form a team for your age group. Valor tryouts haven't happened yet, so there's still time to register to check it out. They are also medium sized like GFR, though I hear that some players are leaving due to changes in the coaching staff. If you live east of Herndon, there are some medium to large sized clubs (Arlington, Mclean, Vienna). If you live west of Herndon, there are some medium to large sized clubs in Leesburg (Loudoun, Revolution, PWSI/VSA)

The 2012 Girls ECNL Regional game never updated on the ECNL site. I did hear a Herndon (or Sterling) coach got ejected for arguing calls last week. Not sure if that explains why the game isn't updated or if that's what this poster is referring to. But coaches get red cards at this level pretty frequently (I think I've seen at least 3 in the past couple of years at my DC's games).

Has anyone heard about what will happen with the girl's teams for next season? Did anyone try out on the Herndon side or will they all be Sterling girls again?
