That's not accurate. There are commits to Columbia and Fairfield on the current team. There are some other D1 commits listed but they are the players who came over from Husel who had already committed to those programs prior to joining the Wolves. |

^ this is not bragging. It is sharing good news. |
Is it good news when juniors and seniors in high school beat what was probably freshmen? Who wound up losing every game of the tournament? It was not a good post and I would suggest you refrain from them in the future. |
Wow, somebody really hates the Washington Wolves and doesn’t like posters who’s opinions are different from they/them. |
Totally agree. The "Wolves Beat Eagles" post is so harmless. Don't know what that other poster is on about. |
There are. They transferred from other clubs though. |
Husel U19 won a gold medal. Not a top pool but they had no losses and only 1 goal allowed. After the exodus they were not expected to do much but rallied with remaining players, and new adds. Good for them! |
What do you consider an elite club in the DMV? |
Freedom A team - best in the DMV |
Agree with this. |

There is a lot of truth in this. One missing fact, WW has one more D1 commit not mentioned and quite a few for D2 & D3 schools. All commits are incredible achievements. The percentage of WW committed players to the number of WW players is impressive and would be comparable to any elite club. Also, we shouldn’t take anything away from these hard working young athletes and their major life accomplishments. As parents, we know how much time and effort they have put in to achieving their goals so I will keep my responses to the clubs. For SS, the extra WW players who were combined with the other team, were mostly from U16 and a few younger U19 players, but the pp is right, mostly 25’s on the U19 roster. The FH community is small and once you have been in it you recognize that all the clubs have grievances from fairness, favoritism, less attention to their lower teams, coaching, etc. What I have heard, consistently, through many FH families is that the WW coach truly loves the girls, wants the best for them, and helps with recruiting. She also wants them to be have fun and love the game. The new coaches who teach the U14 and younger are having great success and I have heard great things, so this is a positive for WW’s future. That being said, the coach goes to the extreme to not have perceived favorites, to the point where there is no appearance of loyalty to the players who have stayed dedicated to her club. This is where some of the negativity may have come from with the other posts and previous WW players. As seen at SS, the coach would rather send her loyal players to another team, not under the WW name, and have her new WW players on the team under the WW name. This was the 2nd time WW has done this. Paying a lot of money to be part of the WW club to be sent to play for another club during recruitment is not great, especially when being seen is the most important, if you’re not committed. Overall, WW is a solid team and for the DMV, NL & WW are the top two choices, but if you’re not an elite player already, there a low chance to be on the top team, no matter what club is chosen. |
^ this is interesting info. How can a club send some of their players to another club for a showcase? I have never heard of this. What club did the WW players guest play for? This is very detrimental to the Wolves and I can see how Parents are pissed, as they should be. |
