You can not allow the criminals win. No one wants to live under the rule of these conservatives truckers and their foreign backers. I would go further- they should be held in 24 hour a day isolation and all their assets seized. Anyone who help them gets the same. There is a war being waged right now. The future of Canada as a free state is at stake. It is no coincidence that is happened after Canadian government released a plan to deal with another trump/republican administration.

This is not about foreign backers fomenting dissent in Canada, rather it seems very much to ve an internal debate among Canadians. Brian Peckford, the last living signer of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms that was a bill of rights for Canadians entrenched in the Canadian Constitution Act of 1982, is currently pursuing legal action against the Canadian government for travel bans for unvaccinated citizens.

It’s not an internal debate. It is just a few people who want to do what they want. It’s just like when the government cracked down on DWI. A few losers just never understand it is time to change your ways.

Why do you think that? Trudeau only won with 32% of the popular vote and has an approval rating of 38%. Why doesn't that indicate that the vaccine mandate platform that he ran on has domestic dissension?

Locals blockade fleet of out of town "freedom convoy" trucks in the "Battle of Billings Bridge." Truckers were eventually forced to negotiate a retreat, taking down their flags and surrendering jerry cans.

The poll numbers for the truck drivers is like 0.5% approval. There is no support for them and their anti vaccine, anti mask, no insurance, no registration of commercials vehicles, no speed limit, etc. What you are saying is similar to saying trumps poll numbers were 38% because he shut down the economy and the schools therefore David Duke should dictate new laws.

Another blockade of the "Freedom Convoy" by citizens who are fed up with the occupation by the outsiders.

A dog-walking group from the neighbourhood organized the counter-protest on social media and stopped a small convoy of flag-bearing vehicles just after 9 a.m.

Ten women stepped in front of the vehicles.

An at times tense standoff ensued with counter-protesters exchanging unpleasantries with the stranded drivers as hundreds of people swarmed Riverside Drive, east of Bank Street. The counter-protest swelled during the day as news of the entrapment spread.

By 3:40 p.m., the first few ensnared vehicles were allowed to depart — they had to remove their flags first — under a heavy police escort as organizers sought to de-escalate the situation.
