The reactions couldn't be more different.
Liberty University, the ultra-religious Christian university, is reopening next week post-Spring Break. Harvard University, top-tier Ivy League university, is shut down and all students distance learning for the foreseeable future. Harvard's president and his wife have also both tested positive for coronavirus. https://whdh.com/news/harvard-university-president-wife-test-positive-for-coronavirus/ https://www.richmond.com/news/virginia/thousands-of-liberty-students-expected-to-return-to-campus-amid/article_a7b91be3-217a-598e-a367-34950271e6c6.html |
| I hope there's a good hospital with alot of ICU beds in their town. |
| Their motto should be....Making the next wave |
| Isn't VA on lockdown state-wide? |
|
Jesus is my ventilator.
|
| Glad a school that is supposed to be based on Christian beliefs is thinking of others. |
Jesus take the vent! |
If I were a doctor or nurse there I would be looking for a new job elsewhere. |

Centra Lynchburg General Hospital...
Total Staffed Beds: 629 CCU Beds: 136 ICU Beds: 66 beds (between LGH and the women & children's hospital, VBH) Everyone send good thoughts to the people who are going to be overwhelmed if people start getting sick down there. |
| The kids probably won't get that sick, but they'll go back to their conservative Christian families and communities at the end of the semester and spread CV there. Maybe that will give them some sympathy for New York, California and the "East Coast elites." |
I would quit if I were them. |
| Hey OP - Liberty University is majority online anyway. |
| WTF? |
More than 15,000 students take classes on campus in their undergraduate course. That's a larger in-resident population that most D.C. universities. |
| Northam should step in. FFS he should step in on a lot of things. |
