FCV parents - has anyone heard anything?

I hear the 06 FCV DA team is about to fall apart. Can anyone confirm? 07 Loudoun is best team in area, so would guess best 07s might try to migrate there from FCV. Hear Gus might be leaving too. Looks like the 05 FCV team is their last hope for glory. Three more years and FCV will be defunct. Loudoun should go in for the kill and demolish all their rec and lower level travel teams. Offer them cheaper fees and a better run organization. Kids and parents will be taken care of and happy, leaving only the arrogant coaches and staff to wonder what went wrong (except CZ who smartly got out of the investment side at the right time).

Don’t believe anything Loudoun 07 Dad says. If people are going to leave FCV, they’ll be looking to join quality teams at McLean, VDA and BRYC.

People in Loudoun County who want high quality training know that their options are FCV or leave the county. On the boys side, the 16 year old from Loudoun County who just signed a homegrown contract with DC United had been playing for Bethesda before DC United Academy. He last played for Loudoun Soccer when he was 6. His parents knew he couldn’t get the training he needed with Loudoun Soccer.

I can confirm with 99.9 certainty that the FCV 06 DA team is staying with FCV. If any one or two player leaves, it would have been decided before all this. Fact

For what? A second hand conference that has no competition over MW who has quite frankly the best training program I have ever seen and a top conference within VDA and the ECNL? Don’t get it.
