She didn't say she told the beach friends his name. She talked about the assault. Details.

Yes. Details are what are lacking.
How on God’s green earth can Kavanaugh PROVE that he didn’t do this if there is no date, no place and no other details?
All the people there deny this occurred.

Are you calling for a full investigation? Seems like that’s exactly what most people want!

Hmmm... if an investigation would help improve her memory, that would be good. But, I that wouldn’t happen.

Yeah this woman is all mixed up.

She’s calling them “people on the beach” so the media doesn’t pounce on them for questioning an$ keep them away from the limelight. People on the beach maybe her term for people close to her. Obviously she doesn’t want to name them or her relationship with them.

Like how Republicans are naming and giving their relationship with the two men they claim have come forth and admitted they are the people who assaulted Ford rather than Kavanaugh?

That’s blatant distortion. They were explaining why they have the report from the guy but not all of the components used in the analysis. That is totally and completely usual. You obviously have an agenda.

Polygraphs are bullshit. I don’t care about any of this.

Oh okay. So you don’t want the evidence that doesn’t suit your narrative.

Um, no. I’ve taken multiple polygraphs and know how they work and how easy they are to beat.

The fact that Ford was driven home from an attempted rape, yet cannot tell us who drove her home, is very curious. The person who was one-on-one with her immediately after the incident could provide us valuable insight. Yet Ford can't tell us who it was.

I would expect that she would have said nothing about the attack to whoever gave her a ride home that night. And whoever gave her a ride would be unlikely to remember a generic instance of giving her a ride home, if she hadn’t mentioned her assault.

This.

Holton is a special place. "Find a way or make one!"

Men really have no clue. I feel like next Grassley and the GOP will put her in the Reflecting Pool to see if she floats!

Seriously! (Good one, PP.)

oh boy, that IS a big discrepancy. Lyin' scum Kavanaugh is going to get off scot-free!

No it isn't. Have you been paying attention?

She's screwed.

She’s answering every question thoroughly and consistently. You’re playing gotcha and distorting the facts and statements behind them. You are scrambling.

This could have been avoided if Kavanaugh were truly a man of character.

If he had apologized or expressed remorse, even if he admitted that he didn't remember such an incident or remembered it differently, then we all would have moved on.

I have to assume Mitchell is going to draft some sort of report that the committee will release today because she’s not making a lot of tv worthy points in-hearing.

Hardly. Kavanaugh may still get confirmed but women everywhere feel that Congress and more specifically the GOP have shat on them as people. Recent polls week over week are showing an increase in support among women for Democratic candidates in multiple races around the country. Now many of those other women, after having seen her testify, are going to flock to Democrats. The GOP will be the ones screwed, here.

So you regularly “beat” polygraphs? In other words, you are repeatedly lying under examination? You sound credible.

Just stop.
He is a man of character. Why apologize for something HE DIDN’T DO??????
And, don’t say you would “move on.” That is the biggest load of crap.

"on the beach" is a well known euphamism in my circle for professionals in-between full time employment. That could certainly be her husband OR therapist.
