South Lakes isn't overcrowded like Chantilly, no one travels as far to South Lakes as Crossfield travels to Oakton, and capacity at the new school may be limited. So, nice try (again), but I wouldn't assume that everyone currently zoned to Carson will feed to this school. Boundaries may change, and they may conclude they still need some split feeders, even if they can reduce the three-way split at Carson.

Oak Hill goes to Franklin MS and would absolutely go to this new HS given being less than two miles away. I'd argue it is the closest elementary school outside of maybe Floris.

I would guess that the Crossfield families who claim they have an Oakton address want to stay at Oakton HS even though 90% of the school lives on the other side of west ox rd and is much closer to KAA. I will be really angry if they ruin this for the Franklin Farm families.

Honestly I think Forestville ES parents are toast. This is an equity obsessed 12-0 Progressive School Board. If you live south of Route Seven you are you are 100% going to Herndon HS now. If there is any silver lining those North of Route Seven have a fighting chance.

Look the Tysons growth can be resolved really easily now that you can move Crossfield into the new HS. Backfill Oakton with Flint Hill from Madison HS. Then backfill Madison HS with Westbriar from Marshall. Marshall has more vacancy now.

You can even now move more Navy ES to Chantilly now that is doesn’t have Oak Hill ES.
