Madison was up 10-2 after 3 Qtrs…this contest was over as soon as Cosby beat Battlefield.

Thank you for the weekly analysis, you did an excellent job and made the season fun to follow. I enjoyed keeping up with all the schools, especially those in your top 5. Kudos to the final top 5, Madison definitely didn’t have an easy road to the finish. All great teams & every one of ‘em made the Warhawks earn it. Looking forward to seeing these boys playing together this summer.

I second that. It was generally a nice experience to share game summaries, exchange opinions and the occasional ribbing, too!

I highly enjoyed it as well…thank you!

Appreciated the rankings. Your first list held up pretty well. Thanks.

Thanks everyone - it was fun. Enjoyed the discussions. Preseason list did mostly hold up. Madison lived up to the hype, LB didn’t pull together when it mattered most, Battlefield coasted to States, Robinson was solid but not quite enough talent, Yorktown was good but undisciplined. McLean outperformed, Cosby win over Battlefield was a big surprise.

Very knowledgeable posts this season. 6A was very competitive. I still think Atlee was the best team in the state in all divisions they have gone back to back undefeated.

We have a common opponent now. Atlee beat Cosby 14-7 and Madison beat Cosby 14-4. Would have been a good game between Madison and Atlee. My money would be on Madison but Atlee undoubtedly had a great season. Madison has now won 3 of the last 4 Class 6 state championships.

Thanks as well to rankings committee - know how much effort goes into rankings and analysis each week - analysis usually spot on and fair assessment of talents/challenges. Appreciate all the efforts! Great forum to talk HS lacrosse with some pretty respectful folks. Look forward to doing it again next year!
