Been pretty even since COVID between these two: 2021 - Yorktown wins regional semi 2022 - Yorktown wins regular season, regional final and Madison won the game that counts in the state semi 2033 - Yorktown wins regular season, Madison wins regional final Should be a good battle again this year, hopefully multiple times once again. |

Who are the Top Nova faceoff specialists this spring?
|
| What about goalies? |
How many state titles does Yorktown in the past decade. Hasn’t Madison won VA States the past two seasons? They will be the program everyone is gunning for this spring until otherwise. |
The kid from Hayfield is probably the best. Think he was over 80% last season. Robinson has a good sophomore Fogo. |
Yorktown has one, Madison has the last two and three of the last four. Madison is the team to beat. Yorktown will be down a bit this year. |
. I think Battlefield is #1 and maybe McLean #2. |
| Yorktown goalie is definitely up there |
I saw that the Battlefield goalie is committed in the 2025 class will he be at Battlefield for two more years? |
Yorktown’s fogo may be up there, too. |
Riverside and others are a distant second. |

Face-off
#1 Riverside (Jacksonville) Arguably the best in the DMV. #2 Hayfield #3 Robinson #4 Langley #5 Yorktown Goalie #1 Battlefield #2 McLean #3 South Lakes #4 Riverside #5 Yorktown |

He was a 2024 until recently. Didn't know you could reclass in public school. |
Agree the Riverside FOGO is the best in the area. Since this was originally a Class 6 thread I think the rest is right - Hayfield, Robinson, Langley, and Yorktown in Class 6 for faceoff and Battlefield and McLean for goalie. I haven't seen the South Lakes kid play, but the Yorktown goalie is also good. |
