The building I live in had a murder occur in it on Friday! Nobody seems to know any details but I was wondering if people just aren't saying anything. Can anyone provide insight?

1. Do not tell people where you live. Are you stupid?
2. This guy was obviously stabbed to death. That is a personal way to kill someone. 3. That means the killer knew the person. So you are not in danger. |
It was on the local news and there’s thousands of people living there - what are you afraid of? |
You’ve watched too much bad tv. |
|
Why a strong smell of bleach? Did the killer try to rinse himself or herself off?
Stabbing inside the apartment is maybe personal, but stabbing outside is not necessarily personal. Wasn't the woman who was recently murdered on the street in Mt. Pleasant or wherever stabbed? That was a stranger. |
I can’t believe people buy into the “stabbing means the perp knew the victim” bs. |
Read the comments - he was killed in his apartment so he let someone in. |
That’s not necessarily the case. |

More likely than not the person was let in, especially since the article doesn’t indicate there were signs of a forced entry. Also, since ACPD said they don’t believe there is any threat to the community, that means they suspect the murder was committed by someone known to the victim who had a particular motive. |
Answering the door isn’t the same as letting someone in. There are ways to enter a residence that don’t result in forced entry. Having possession of a key or code, opening an unlocked door, pushing your way in when someone opens a door... I agree that the police know some things that haven’t been publicized, though. |
Not really, though. |

I lived in "AVA Ballston" back in the 1990s when it was called "Lincoln Towers". Good times! That was before they built a bunch of high rises around it to obstruct the view from the balcony. I was on the 21st floor looking towards Skyline.
At one point, around 1995-ish, they had a message posted in the elevator asking if anyone had seen Vince Foster in the building in 1993. Apparently someone thought he'd been killed there and his body dumped in Fort Marcy Park. |
not the PP but what exactly do you think the OP is risking by admitting they are one of 1000+ people who live in a specific apt building? |
That is crazy - the Vince Foster part. |
