Definitely a lot more to this story that has not been published yet. These buildings have cameras everywhere, so the suspect is definitely on camera and APD is likely trying to track that person down. Since there's no signs of forced entry the likely perps are (1.) spurned lover, (2.) drug deal gone bad, or (3.) internet hookup.

How so? Given the demographic, I would be shocked if it was not one of those three scenarios. Truly random killings are very rare in a high income neighborhood like Ballston. Like one-in-5-million level of rareness.

Where in this thread has ANYONE said the victim is at fault for his own murder? Here's a hint - no one blamed the victim at all. We were just surmising the circumstances in which a young professional white man would be murdered in his own home in an upscale neighborhood.
