Food/ things that curb your appetite

What types of food help you in curbing your appetite? When I changed my diet to lose weight I discovered some food that works better in curbing my appetite and I usually reach out to these when I have intense cravings. The apple post reminded me of this and was just wondering what works with other people. For me, I discovered that Grapefruit, Apples, Grilled chicken breast( kabobs work best) minty candy/gum, occasional 1tbsp of peanut butter which I eat slowly, broth soups, tea.

Sometimes, doing a short 15-20 minute cardio works for me too.

A small handful of nuts.

A cup of chicken broth, 1/2 of a grapefruit or herbal tea. It doesn't take my mind off of wanting other food, but it keeps my eating desires occupied, and it lessens the likelihood that I will reach for something else if I can convince myself that I'm doing something beneficial.

Any sort of fruit. An ounce of cheese.

Mint tea (or other herbal tea, but mostly mint). Just occupying myself with drinking something warm helps a lot.

Gum, brushing teeth and just keep a water bottle next to you all day long. Bonus: your skin will look much better, too!
