Interesting in the 08 girls BSC and Pipeline top flight with of course...yooouuurr Richmond Strikers! LOL. Have not looked at the other brackets but feel free to post away on other brackets.

the 08’s- Loudoun 2nd flight, Arlington 3rd flight and VSA 4th flight. No DMV second teams but out of area 2nd and 3rd teams in. DMV looking pretty weak in the 08’s.

I never put much stock in these comments. I've heard that about virtually every age group at one time or another. What the problem usually is is the way the 08 teams you see are coached or built up. I've seen teams with too many defenders, too many forwards, too many midfielders. Imbalance or too much spreading out of talent gives the false impression of a "weak age group" .

Isn’t Bethesda part of DMV? Or this meant only for Virginia?

They certainly didn’t do any favors for the other 08 NPL teams. VSA 4th bracket, Vienna 5th, PWSI 6th, Kickers in the Classic bracket and GFR and FCV aren’t anywhere on the undercard. Ouch.

Yeah, politics is real. The Richmond Strikers control one of the largest tournaments on the east coast, and they aren't afraid to use that power.

The further the teams traveled the higher they were placed

It seems that a lot of tournaments these days may be using youthsoccerrankings.us to determine placement, for good or ill. They have the Richmond 08 girls team as number 18 nationally (above Pipeline and BSC), so that would put them in top flight. I haven't looked at more than a handful, but if you are wondering why a team is in a particular flight, check that site and see if it matches up.
