Cartonnist targeting Kavanaugh's 10-year old.

This needs to stop. Take a vote and move on.
She' not being targeted, there is NOTHING negative about the child in that cartoon

I think kids should be off-limits, period. Which is why Brett should not have paraded them around or brought them up in testimony.

“In his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday, Kavanaugh told lawmakers that Liza had said to her mother, Ashley, that "we should pray" for Ford.”

What an idiot.
He makes other opponents of the judge's confirmation look bad -
"Look at those sick Libs!" Ugh.

Same for certain comments on the right, BTW. The more extreme ones should not be taken for the opinion of the majority of Republicans.

So true. And the worst thing is that certain elements of the Blessed Sacrament community have started referring to "Coach K" as "Coach Rapey." How cruel!

And them now starting to call him Coach Rapey is troubling too. It's just wrong!

and unfortunately growing in popularity, day by day. It's all "Coach Rapey" this and "Coach Rapey" that. What was wrong with Coach K???

There is only one Coach K and he is at Duke.

Yeah, I would think that calling someone "Coach K" in the vicinity of College Park would be worse than being called "Coach Rapey". Though "Coach Rapey" is pretty inappropriate, especially around children.

You’ve been brainwashed. Children should be off limits.
Yet Kavanaugh brought her up, referred to her in his public hearing...

I terms of the Senate, at any point McConnell thinks he has the votes, he will call the vote. That he hasn't yet is telling.

Whether he has the votes or not, McConnell needs to call the vote to stop this national embarrassment of our institutions. Senators need to put their names on the record. If Kavanaugh loses, Trump will campaign hard in Indiana, West Virginia and North Dakota and salvage a majority out of it.

Children should be off limits, which includes being misleading about how children are depicted in cartoons. The child was not targeted and you are attempting to exploit the child to generate outrage. You should be ashamed of yourself.

NP, I actually do think this was very inappropriate. Whether you want to use the word targeted or exploited, the child should not have been depicted in this cartoon in that manner. I am surprised that you don't see this, Jeff. And FWIW, I am not a Kavanaugh supporter.

The media, and we, should be smarter than him.

We are. One wonders why the PP linked to the cartoon, effectively giving it a wider audience.

Bad Brett
Bad cartoonist

Please leave the kids out of it.

Well at least we don’t have the nut job Australian cartoonists here. They have no restraint.

So, this is an editor of Think Progress. I will link to his tweet because it contains a banned word here.

Don’t tell us you are not trying to destroy this man, liberals. This is an example of a far left liberal celebrating because his Harvard Law class was cancelled “due to mass student opposition.” It’s almost as if they want anything Kavanaugh is involved in to go to hell.

However, that is not accurate. As one person wrote, "Well no, hold on folks, this isn't as it seems.
Kavanaugh's SC class "will not be offered this fall" (according to Harvard) but that's not a response to student protest at all, it's because Kavanaugh reportedly withdrew. Maybe he was expecting a different way to pass his time."

Oh, I agree that the child shouldn't have been depicted. I never said otherwise. But the child was't targeted. Falsely stating otherwise is exploitation of the child and the poster who did that was being hypocritical.

Trump kind of went on at length about the "surprising" news about Kavanaugh's attachment to beer, claiming (falsely) that BK admitted to having "a little bit of difficulty" with alcohol. You can tell in his comments he thinks poorly of people who drink to excess.

In today’s press conference, Trump said something to the effect that he’s never had a drink, alcohol has never touched his lips and he asked, “Can you imagine what I’d be like, if I did?”

It was a funny line.

Good for Trump. Think how many American lives would be saved by avoiding alcohol. "Buzzed driving is drunk driving."

Or how many men would not go around assaulting women by avoiding alcohol.

I think about this.... when his girls get a little older and google information about themselves, this will certainly be returned in the search results.
It is horrible.

Who knows? Some guys feel entitled to grab pussies even when they haven’t had a drop of alcohol.
