Would love to find shorts that are a reasonable length and fit properly. Most are too short or too tight in the thigh. When I've sized up for a larger thigh opening, they hang on my hips.
Skorts are my go to in the summer. |

I thought about this thread actually this WINTER! I bought a few pair of ankle length wide leg jeans from J Crew Factory and they were my staple all winter. But I definitely see pics of myself and think.... hmmmm... short, wide leg pants really don't flatter the body, do they. But I look "fashionable" for a 40 year old, and I'm not overweight, so, whatever. And they're comfy!!! Way better than the tight skinny jeans of my 30s, or the super low rise jeans of my 20s. But I was thinking.... these are basically capris and DCUM does not approve. |

Sometimes I want to wear sneakers! I can't pull off sneakers with a knee length skirt. But i can pull them off with cropped pants. |

I wear both. Usually capris when gardening or walking. Skirts for everything else. Don't care how they look anymore, my only goal is to not pass out from heat exhaustion. |
