There really isn't a wrong choice. Beshear, Walz, Cooper, Kelly, Shapiro, even Buttigieg or Whitmer, would all energize the base and bring in moderates and independents. Any of the first four in particular would be a safe and smart choice. And personally, I prefer the first three - the governors. I'm a little concerned that Kelly is not a great people person. There's a 100 days until the election. Likeability is going to be very important immediately.

I think Beshear would be a good counter to Vance

Walz is great too.

I hope she goes with someone high energy and personable and able to call Trump/Vamce out on their weird comments. Kelly has an impressive resume and I’m sure is a great person but he hasn’t made the press for the zingers that Walz and Beshear have.

Beshear does not have the Charisma to be on the national stage. He’s fine for Kentucky plus working families need him there to be a bulwark against GOP Fascism.

I agree. I think a funny grandfatherly type who is very clear in his messaging would balance the ticket well. He also seems to best fit the do-no-harm mandate.

Given she’s coming from the Joe Biden ticket, I think the last thing she needs is another elderly person. The age difference is even more apparent compared to JD.
