I think Ivanka and Jared would be fine seeing him locked up. They have more money than him, and more irons in the fire to make more-- all separate from any entanglement with Trump/Trump Org. I'm convinced Jared is the one who tattled to the feds about the Mar a Lago docs. |
Ivanka and Jared have always been uncomfortable with his Presidency. They're not idiots, they knew a businessman who grifts and bankrupts as a matter of a course would not do well as President. So from the beginning, they sought to do damage control and get what they could for themselves out of his White House stint. The sons are more enmeshed, I've noticed. The two younger ones will probably try to stay as far away from the sinking ship as possible. |
You people are hysterical. The amount of speculating that goes on here is crazy, but to act as if you *know* the inner thoughts of those close to Trump is not only insane, but quite presumptuous. The arrogance of some people here is over the top. |
I hope that Ivanka and Jared are next. There is no way that they are not complicit in his crimes. |
Come on. Trump winning the 2016 election was the worst thing that ever happened to those kids. They had it made before that. |
You forget that this is DCUM and some of us actually know these people. Sorry, Lara. You married one of the duds ![]() |

She doesn’t care. She got her money and she’s got her son. |
When will she file for divorce? |
She's not planning to. She's waiting for him to die. Serving up lots of cheeseburgers. |
+1 Richard Berman, Trump’s USA at SDNY, wrote a book about this that came out months ago. Whitaker and Barr both interfered in the investigation of the Stormy Daniels thing - Trump was originally written as Conspirator 1 or similar in a complaint like three times longer than what eventually came out, and they were forced to severely edit it and change it to Individual 1. Then once Cohen was over with main Justice told Berman not to do anything else, and they told Manhattan they should hold off since SDNY was on top of it but they were letting it die. |
Bet it makes him strong as hell and a formidable opponent someday |
Trump is slimy as hell. As his supporters say, nothing sticks to him. Hopefully this will. |
I will be surprised if it is tossed out, at least anytime soon. There is a long history of targeted prosecutions of Republican leaders. Newt Gingrich was cleared many years after his original IRS charges over teaching a class to activists. Tom Delay left the Republican leadership because of bogus money laundering charges. He was acquitted, but it took nearly a decade and an appeal of a conviction. The DA in Austin has gone after other Republicans too like Rick Perry and Greg Abbott. If Ted Cruz had been elected, they probably would have filed charges in Austin against him as well. |
