The only thing that they changed was the location of the pick up. Still the reason the pick ups aren’t happening is because ice is not showing up at the time they are scheduled for release

+1 OP, you need to get some better comprehension skills.

It's just a change in location, not that they are now going to call ICE as if they didn't before (they did).

But I did disagree with Eilrich on the initial move to bar ICE from the secure portions of the jail house to transfer the person. That was just not safe. He definitely did not think things through on that one.

What's your point? I'd agree that the Catholic church has issues. I'd also agree that allowing people to come here illegally and live here illegally also leads to issues.

This is factually correct. The jail has always notified ICE. it’s just ICE can’t always respond in time. Now the county is reverting to its old policy of allowing ICE in to a secure portion of the jail for pick up. A plus for public safety overall.
