Criminal vs. civil is irrelevant. If they are here illegally, they have to go back. |
Except no one checks ICE detainers for probable cause that the person is actually here illegally, and ICE gets it wrong all the time meaning American citizens get detained illegally. The county should absolutely ignore a "detainer" that amounts to one ICE officer saying "I think he's deportable, trust me" because it's constitutionally meaningless. |
Nobody is arguing against that. Just stating you can’t violate their constitutional rights by holding them without probable cause. |
Yes it is relevant. No they do not have to go back. If they commit a criminal act they must go back, a civil act they don't have to go back... that is the law. |
The only probable cause you have is that they are Hispanic.

another democrat who thinks hispanic and illegal alien are synonymous |
When will republicans care? They’re indifferent when their little white children are murdered in their suburban schools. |
some Trumpsters seem to think so, while shouting "why are you invading my country".. a line Trump likes to quote. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/milwaukee-acid-attack-hispanic-man-attacked-with-acid-questioned-about-citizenship-suspect-in-custody/ And of course, they are using the mental illness defense for a white man. His only mental deficiency is that he's a Trumpster. https://www.nbc15.com/content/news/Man-accused-of-tossing-acid-on-Latino-due-in-Milwaukee-court-564974422.html |
