I just ate Arby’s for lunch

Anonymous
I knew that having oatmeal for breakfast was going to send me into a carb spiral. By the time I hit lunch, I was running errands and absolutely craving Arby’s roast beef (of all things) and a small fry. I ate all of it and now feel gross. I have about 10 pounds to lose and am feeling super discouraged. That is all.

I love their roast beef.

I've ordered a side salad and a roast beef sandwich, but tossed the bread. So good.

Go for a nice long walk and do better tomorrow. It's fine to have a cheat meal now and then.

Track it/log it and move on. One meal doesn’t matter. Just get back to it.

Btw, I think Arby’s is tasty.

Do not use this as an excuse to "fall off the wagon." It's one, relatively small meal.

Get right back in the game.

12:44 has good advice. When you get those cravings in a big way, you can find a way to get the thing you're craving the most.

This! Eat a lighter dinner.

You only ruin your progress if one meal turns into weeks of eating. FWI I follow a guy in Instagram who lost 7 lbs in a month while eating a big mac every day. It's just all about balance. You can eat whatever you want and still make progress as long as you work the calories in.

Eat an apple for dinner

Have a garden salad with little dressing (no croutons) and maybe a cup of broth seasoned with tumeric, freshly diced garlic and black pepper for dinner. Your calories will all even out over the day.

This is no big deal. Just get back on the horse and do better tomorrow. Maybe plan to have scrambled eggs and berries for breakfast.

I've never had Arby's roast beef, but their curly fries are hands down the best fast food fries ever.

I wanted Arby's today too, but don't live close to one. I had popeyes instead. Instead of feeling bad I'm just going to have a small, lightly dressed salad for dinner. I probably won't be very hungry anyway.

My daughter's dad lives near an Arby's and every so often I get an intense craving for a roast beef sandwich. So my daughter and I give it to the craving! It's ok to eat less than perfectly sometimes. It helps keep you from feeling too deprived. Eat a healthy dinner and move on.
