Timpanogos Regional Hospital was the facility where Charlie Kirk was taken after being shot. The hospital is approximately 2 miles from the event venue at Utah Valley University's main campus.

With the shooter still at large, the team likely deemed it too risky to remain on-site for paramedics, who could not approach until the area was secured.

The short distance to the hospital made private transport faster than coordinating an ambulance amid the chaos.

Ok so this makes even less sense, were there no armed security on site? if the hospital was only two miles away, an EMT must have also been nearby. Was there a stretcher in the back of the SUV or did they just stuff his body back there bleeding out?

Because they can do a ballistics investigation. Doesn’t the FBI want to know where the bullet came from to use in a murder investigation and trial?

ANYWAY murder victims are autopsied because there need to be findings to present in court. "He was shot" isn't sufficient for a capital punishment murder trial.

He lost most of his blood already. His security was on him for a minute or two before they carried him to the SUV. His security also was using his shirt to stop any more blood coming out, but it was not much help at that point as they knew he was already dead.
