I'm 41 years old, work in tech policy and I'm not sure I could pick Bezos out of a lineup.

I know that my 17 year old self wouldn't be able to unless someone introduced him at "jeff bezos from amazon!"

white dudes between the ages of 40 and 60 tend to get mixed up... with me and all others.

I don’t know, I kinda love sh#thead teens. They say what everyone is thinking since they haven’t quite learned to be political in these types of social situations.

I can see knowing his name but not necessarily his face. My 10 year old would know him by name but not face. After the cheating/divorce, not as many people respect him or care.

Right? Probably I'd recognize him but he looks like a pretty average middle aged bald guy.

I'm certain that neither of my well read upper middle class white kids would recognize him.

I agree, teens should be able to identify billionaires by sight so they know whom to eat

I think you don't quite understand the degree to which anyone outside of a teen's generation does not register. They don't read, they don't watch live TV. They know what is pushed to them via Instagram and Twitter and Snapchat. This is the world we live in.

I know his name, but not his face. I care more that the kids can code than they can recognize the face of a billionaire.

They absolutely do read. TV no, mine has never watched tv or really even streaming.

I'm 42 and work at a law firm with a lot of old white men. I'm white. My friends and I refer to them as "the grandpas." As in, "the grandpas are meeting on the 25th floor." Or, "I have a meeting with two of the grandpas to get notes on the amendment to the Bezos agreement."

I bet any upper middle class elementary school in McLean and North Arlington would know.

I bet you’re wrong.

This school is rated below average in school quality compared to other schools in Washington DC. Students here perform below average on state tests, have below average college readiness measures, and this school has below average results in how well it’s serving disadvantaged students.
