The 2 week wait part II

I figured we could start a new one since there seems to be several of us trying now.

-CN (probably out this month)

Long cycle (38 days) here from the last thread. Thanks for starting! I just got my period Sunday so now I have a couple weeks to just chill before worrying about it again, which honestly is kind of nice. I'm trying for my second and don't want to stress out too much (which is impossible).

Hey “long cycle” I have a long cycle well but then again I just had my IUD out and not sure if this is just my body readjusting. I have signs of my period coming back soon so hopefully it finally appears and let’s me know I’m out this cycle (I’d hate to have no period and BFNs!) and we can just look toward the future. June was too packed with birthdays and Anniversaries anyway

Hi, I’m “ME” from the other thread.

We are TTC our third. It hasn’t been too long...6 months?...I’m 36. Feeling discouraged.

Hey CN! I went off the pill not too long ago, so I thought my long cycle was just because I was coming off the pill, but then it was exactly 38 days on the dot the second cycle too. When I got pregnant with my first, it happened right after I went off the pill so I never got my period. Well, I went back to the old app I used back in 2017, and low and behold, it looks like I ovulated right around day 23 or 24, which, had I not gotten pregnant, would have been a 38 day cycle. It's a little crazy to me that it is that regular, but I guess that's a good thing and can help with the planning. I think for some people ttc, all of the data is too much, but for me, it makes me feel better!

Hi ME. Would it make you feel better to make an appointment with an RE? I don't think 6 months at age 36 is worrisome, but if there are things you can do to help yourself feel better, go for it!

Ignorant NP here, what is an RE?

I’m a NP so hope it’s ok I join in!

I’m 30 and we’ve been TTC for 3 years now. Currently on my second cycle of letrozole and trigger shot. I triggered Monday evening and felt “o” pain today so officially in my two week wait with October 30th set as my blood work date. I had high hopes for last month/my first medicated cycle but obviously that failed so I’m really hoping this cycle works.

Hey y’all, so much easier if we give names right? So let’s call me Monroe. We decided to TTC for our third and started last month. My cycle is always weird so I never know when I ovulate but made sure to do the dance on similar days as I did my previous pregnancies. Crossing my fingers to find out tomorrow as that’s when I expect my period to come. I did get a pimple this week which is usually the sign that it’s coming so we’ll see. Promised myself not to test early this time as I TTC and only wait for a missed period.

I'm an NP here and am the 40 year old who recently asked if it's too late to try for a second. We did try, and I'll be able to test in a week. I swing between hopeful, and thinking it's better to stop at one. If I post an update I'll post as Susan.

I've been off the Pill since April but by coincidence we haven't "danced" during an ovulation week in that time. I've had some short cycles mixed with regular ones.

We decided to wait until January to go to the doctor. We don't do any sort of treatment, aside from HSG or whatever. I have very regular cycles and quickly conceived my other children, so the doctor isn't worried at all.

It's CN and period due today but it is not here yet. I have a big exam coming up next Friday so I decided to wait and test then. Hopefully by then I'd either have my period or enough HCG to make a positive test. I took some early tests this week and BFN all around.
