The 2 week wait part II

ME here.

I’m out this month and crushed. I really felt pregnant. Had an HSG last month and was so hopeful.

Now I think I’m looking into surgery to remove some scar tissue.

I’m so sad.

I think I’m 8 dpo, no signs of anything. I have had days of complete exhaustion, one night that I literally didn’t sleep at all, and today I ate everything in sight. But pretty sure none of that is related to my probably not being pregnant!

Thank you so much. I'm discouraged. My acupuncturist told me that my blood was "exhausted". So, it could be that...or medical. Who knows.

New poster here - Anne. Trying for #3. #1 took 5 years and #2 took 2mo! If we have a third and want them close together so only trying for 6mo total before stopping at 2. This is month 2. I’ll test on the 15th or 17th, haven’t decided which yet (period is due on 17th, I hate the false hope that there’s still a chance when you test early, but I’m also so impatient.

Hi Anne. M.E here. We are similar: trying for a third. And our first took a year to conceive and 2 took ONE time in a month. Our second child just turned 3. The first two are only 18 months apart.

I am stupidly so worried about the age gap. At this rate, the 3rd child will be 4-4.5 years behind the others. We've been trying for about 9 months. I know the age gap shouldn't bother me but it does!

Hi ladies. I’m not TTC but I was where you guys are for several years a few years ago. I just wanted to mention the age gap. Ours took almost 3 years of trying for #2 and they are 4.5 years apart as a result and it’s actually been great. Our older one really dotes on the younger and sometimes acts like a little mommy to her, but they also just play together too. There are soooo many things to stress you out when TTC (this thread has given me flashbacks!), but please don’t let the age gap be one of them. Kids don’t know what they don’t know - whatever the age gap is will be their normal. Just foster the love between them and get the older ones involved with the baby in whatever way you can and they will be good. Hope that helps...didn’t mean to butt in.

New poster. Hi everyone. I'm nervous to take a pregnancy test as the last time I took one this summer, it ended up being a chemical pregnancy and bled a few days later. I'm nervous to get my hopes up again if the same thing could happen. I'm currently 20 days past DPO, and 3 days late from my regular cycle. Should I wait even more time to test, and if so how long would you guys recommend?

Test now - you already have the hope that you’re pregnant by being late. Not testing won’t prevent the disappointing heartache if your period comes in a few more days. At least that’s the way I’d feel

I was in the same position and didn't test for a week. We are all different. You're either pregnant or you're not.

Congratulations! Hoping the best for you! If you’ve just had one chemical pregnancy odds are this one will be a go! Despite all the disappoints here, most positive pregnancy tests end in a baby!
