The Kursk folly is going to greatly accelerate the end of the war, and in the long run save a lot of lives. There is also 0% chance of Ukraine holding it long term, and they admit as much that they are only holding it to use as a bargaining chip. Lastly, its really giving Ukraine the opportunity to show their true colors. What we see is looting, kidnapping, rape, Nazi cosplay and even cannibalism of POWs apparently. So I'm grateful for it. |
Ha ha thanks for that word salad of misinformation. Cannibalism? What are they using to program you bots these days? It’s comical. But hey I get how it all works. You throw out a “firehose of propaganda” and hope it sticks. We see through it. You aren’t fooling anyone. Anyway, fking brilliant moves all around by Ukraine these days. They invade Russia at the weak point along the border, capture hundreds of square miles and then blow up all the bridges to the area they took. You know it’s so simple, right? If Russia just crept the the fk back to their own land this whole thing would end. You are free to proceed with your nonsense posts again! It’s funny to all of us. |

Kursk is known as the breadbasket of Russia. An area with some of the most fertile farmlands. I'm sure Ukraine will take good care of it

Once again, this shows the different focus of the two sides. Russia continues to fight a war of attrition while Ukraine is grabbing this territory and blowing bridges at great cost. In addition to the tanks and IVFs, they've lost a number of HIMARs, and AD systems. I would mention soldiers too, but no one on the NATO side cares about them. Every time Ukraine is faced with the opportunity to take a little loss and live to fight another day, they instead double down enthusiastically and end up with a big loss. Bakhmut, Avdeevka, the Counter Offensive, etc... This is just another example of that tendency, which will be as forgotten as the others once it starts to go south. |
Yes, yes, I'm sure that according to some guy on Twitter whose real name is Boris, Ukraine has lost 150,000 troops, 20 HIMARS units, 15 Patriot Missile systems, 172 Leopard tanks, 353 Bradleys, along with an aircraft carrier, two AWACS planes, 50 F-16s and 23 F-22s, a submarine, and 55 4-star Generals trying to invade Kursk. <eyeroll> |

Russia's decision to invade Ukraine remains absolutely baffling. They have 12 time zones of land and a declining population. It's the last country on Earth that needs to expand. They have effectively unlimited natural resources. They had an extremely lucrative market for their energy in Europe. If they had chosen it, they could have had a quality of life that's similar to Norway.
Instead they invaded Ukraine. We have all seen the atrocities they committed in Bucha and Mariupol. We've seen Russians absolutely destroy every place they've attacked - from Bakhmut to Adviivka. There's nothing left. The've suffered roughly 600,000 casualties, which is staggering and more than three times what Americans lost over 15 years in Vietnam. Their Black Sea fleet is destroyed. They've lost more than 8000 tanks and countless artillery pieces and personnel carriers. Not to mention planes and helicopters. And now Ukraine has taken more land in Russia in two short weeks than Russia has been able to gain in more than a year of brutal meat assaults on the eastern front. Russia has lost its most lucrative market forever as Europe has moved on. And besides some regimes in Africa, they are internationally isolated. They can't even compete in the Olympics anymore. And for what? There is no possible good outcome for Russians. They are destined to remain a nation of poor, illiterate peasants ruled by a vile mafia. It's pathetic. |
| ^ I think Putin truly expected it to be easy to just roll in and take all of Ukraine in a few weeks. I think he feels his age and knows that Russia had become almost insignificant globally speaking and he wanted to be known for something. So he tried to be some great conquerer. Instead, this has been a huge embarrassment for Putin and Russia as a whole. Russia has become globally irrelevant in almost every way. The only reason they have any significance at all is the they still have some nukes. That’s it. |
| I actually think Putin has dementia. He’s 71 (!) and obviously no long thinking clearly. Let’s see if the Russians can realize it and get him out before he completely destroys their country with his insanity. |

Giddy over destroying physical bridges, the Ukraine is now destroying spiritual bridges, banning the Russian Orthodox Church and threatening the Ukrainian Orthodox Church: https://www.rt.com/russia/602842-ukrainian-mps-uoc-ban/
"The UOC remains the largest Orthodox church in Ukraine, with more than 8,000 parishes across the country. However, some of these parishes are choosing to transfer to the jurisdiction of the OCU under pressure from authorities in Kiev." Religious freedom, NATO style. |

^ this is your latest talking point? Is that what your supervisor told you post, Boris?
Isn’t it against the 10 commandments to initiate a conflict like Russia did and invade and kill poor Ukrainians? Isn’t this counter offense sort of eye for an eye? Who am I kidding. You’re probably a bot just throwing sht against the wall. |
Its perhaps the oldest talking point in the world, and I bring it up as often as I feel like I can get away with it. This conflict is fundamentally spiritual in nature, and people need to realize that. How else do you explain Ukraine facing a supposedly existential threat but finding time to attack the Church and promote gay marriage? |
