I was disappointed by this. She just looks like she’s trying to look young. I thought her nude pregnancy cover was so groundbreaking, I really wanted her to take a chance and show graceful aging-softer chin, looser boobs, etc, but it’s just tightened-up spray-tanned I will never age nonsense. Why can’t we appreciate older women like other countries do? Who does sexy always have to mean looking 25 and svelte? Am I being totally catty? And, for the record, it’s not just sour grapes, I’m 40 and still have *most* of my figure after 2 kids, but my body had aged, and I kind of like that, and my dh says he still checks me out, so there’s that. Why Does our media have this rule that women’s bodies won’t age like some weird creepy plastic surgery mummification. |
It's the Kardashian factor. It's whatt you have to do to get noticed. Sad. |
Link? |
The only Demi Moore nude cover I'm aware of was Vanity Fair 1991 and she looked fantastic. |
Big deal. You can’t see anything. |
The interview (“with close friend Lena Dunham!”) and cover are here:

I really wish plastic surgery didn’t exist. She looks like Cher in a few of those pics.
|
Means nothing since she’s been totally redone with plastic surgery and photo shopped. She’s just an old lady now. |
Pretty perky breasts for a 56 yr old who birthed 3 children. |
I don’t buy it wasn’t retouched and if it was then what’s the point? |
What’s with the dismissive “just an old lady?” Is she somehow less than because she’s older? |
She looks pretty hot. I wish I looked like that |
Those fillers... yikes. |
Soooooo...is she still acting? |
LOL, I like how they kept the little scar on her thigh as if to try to fool us into believing that the rest of it isn't fake as hell. I don't see the point in this. I mean, good if our society can start to see older women as sexual beings too, but it just doesn't feel like that message. |
