Exactly what has FCV accomplished that VDA needs to play them?

FCV will get top bracket. Jeff Cup has the looks of a blockbuster tournament in the making. If Tophat, Solar and PDA go as well, could be the best tournament in years for this age group.

The bolded are 8 teams ranked higher than FCV and would fill up the top bracket based on rankings alone. Now lets add in that the host club is an ECNL club in their own back yard. FCV will not be in the top bracket this year just like they failed to get into the top bracket last year during a watered down year due to Covid.

And there are many other higher ranked teams that could also attend and some on the above list may choose not to attend. But if applications are more typical I don't think a team ranked outside the top 40-50 in the country will be in the top bracket at Jeff Cup this year. I don't see more than 2 GA teams being placed in the top bracket for political reasons.
