Justin Beiber was pretty messed up for awhile why isn't he under lock and key?
Johnny Depp has been drinking and spending his way into oblivion for a decade.
Shia LaBeoef has seemed on the edge of some kind of violent nervous breakdown for his entire adult life.

But we don't call them 'crazy' or strip them of their rights because they are men. So screw you guys and your serious internalized misogyny.

+1. We all know this would never happen to an extremely rich and successful man - no matter how outlandish his behavior.

Not a single one of these men endangered their kids (Johnny) or were foolish enough to have them when they were in a mentally ill space (Shia/Justin).

Britney's problem, among others, was that she locked herself in a bathroom with her toddlers and forced the police to break it down. After having questionable judgement regarding the kids in the first place. She was caught driving around with them in her lap with no seatbelt multiple times (a judge ruled she couldn't have them in her car anymore) and she dropped another one while looking high on meth.

Had she just had a mental breakdown with herself alone - I do not think the judge would have given Kevin Federline full custody of their shared kids and her own father full custody over herself.

I'm sorry why does having custody of your kids have ANY GD THING TO DO with whether or not she can have a cell phone or decide how to spend the money that she earned or have freedom of movement? Plenty of people do not have custody of their children and not lose control over their entire life.

And to the PP saying people called those men crazy YES they called them crazy but no one stepped in and robbed them of their rights to free will. Freedom to spend the money they EARNED.

Custody of the kids is a completely separate issue from conservatorship, as it should be. Should she have more custody of her kids? Probably not. Should she have access to the money she earned? Absolutely. She was a young girl who was used to make a ton of money for a ton of people. She then wasn’t allowed to live her life the way she wanted. It’s so wrong on so many levels.

I’m also shocked that so many on this thread aren’t up in arms about forcing birth control on a grown woman. It’s deeply disturbing.

+1. Very good points!!

For me, it's that it's impossible to know what's really going on. My mom had mental illness, and she told everyone my dad was physically abusive to both her and us. So cousins and teachers would come up to me and try to talk to me about it. Only my father wasn't physically (or verbally) abusive. She was just making it up because she was paranoid and wanted people to take her side during their divorce. But people still believed her, and if I tried to explain, they acted like I was some poor abused kid in denial. Mental illness can be really confusing to sort out. So while, yes, it's disturbing to hear what Britney's saying, we don't even know if it's true. That's up to the court to sort through. They have much more intel then we do.

We do know her father has been physically abusive, her mom’s friend witnessed it and he has a restraining order from attacking his grandson.

Attacking? He got into a fight with one of Britney's late teen sons over the conservatorship. They'll be aging out of that child support agreement in 3 years as well. Wonder how much of that $20K a month Kevin saved? Enough to keep the boys living in style in separate homes from their father while in college? Probably not. And grandpa is standing between them and an inheritance which Britney doesn't control.

All of the men in her lives are trash.

Yes, attacked. He broke into a room and shook the child

Jayden Federline is a disrespectful little twit who loves to talk about how his mother makes 'bank' and outed his grandfather as gay on social media. No excuse for breaking down the door but I can see how two boys raised by trailer trash Kevin would be hard to handle.

I’m no Kevin Federline fan, but your statement about “trailer trash” is classist and uncalled for. Do better.

Lately every morning, I hear Britney Spears songs on DC’s 99.5. It makes me wonder if we’re all being played by Britney and/or her “team” and her latest media comments are fodder and unpaid promotion for a career reset.

She said she's being drugged against her will. There is no way that Britney has unfettered access to IG if she is not allowed a phone, or to drive, or to make decisions about her body. That makes no logical sense. The conservatorship is trying to make is seem like she's "crazy" for their own purposes >> to continue the lucrative conservatorship. The media and IG all build a case against her in court, as well as the court of public opinion. You can see the clear demarcation in her IG content when she cancelled her tour.

A woman is being held against her will in plain sight. We have a shameful history of men (husbands, brothers, sherrifs) locking up women on the flimsiest of excuses. You're right that she should be able to burn her cash in her driveway if that's what she wants to do. The whole concept of them trying to protect her money is frightening. How many men have declared bankruptcy....um, the former president of the US. People have a right to burn their lives to the ground.

+2. And regardless, how does any of that justify a grandfather attacking his grandson?

You simpletons are acting as if everything Brittany is saying. Is true. We don’t know that. The court can refute what she says due to privacy issues. I don’t know what’s going on with her or her family but neither do any of you. Also Michale Jackson probably wouldn’t be dead if he had had a conservator.

More evidence that Britney’s father controlled and exploited her by threatening to take away her access to her children. Just terrible that this has gone on for so long.

Page six is your source? You’re taking that as gospel? And we wonder why people think there’s a legit reason not to get vaccinated. Ok Kayleigh.

It links to her voicemails. Do you think Lufti hired a Britney impersonator or something?

13 year old voicemails from a woman deep in a mental health crisis provided by a known grifter. Good intel.

Listen to how this woman talks. My god, she kept referring to her IUD as "my ID." She has the vocabulary and expression of a not-very-bright 13 year old girl.

Furthermore, it is clear that somebody recently removed whatever system was in place to monitor and edit her IG posts, and look at the embarrassingly crazed garbage this adult woman is posting: her almost 40 year old self turning cartwheels, a few shots of herself clutching her bare breasts, cutoff shorts unbuttoned and pushed down, and a few others that were eventually deleted (maybe a friend pleaded with her to take them down).

Britney has a low IQ, terrible executive function, is very immature, and probably also suffers a medical illness. She needs to have a conservator.

I think she’s on the spectrum maybe. I think she was molested definitely. Her parents are gross. Why anyone would want their child in show biz is beyond me. Selfish, damaged adults.

Thinking the same. Highly gifted. She may not test well on neurocognitive tests and could possibly be classified as having dementia if LDs or spectrum disorders weren't considered, especially if she didn't have testing earlier in her life indicating a disability.

Highly gifted at what? Her greatest talent is supposedly her dancing and she’s a less talented dancer than a college cheerleader.
