She doesn’t. She will respond regarding decisions she herself has written or regarding cases that she will not have to decide, such as super precedents. It’s clear Republicans understand these distinctions and phrase their questions appropriately, while Democrats refuse to. |

So no one has asked her about the cult she belongs to? Why is she skating on this? |

Even her supporters are defensive about the fact that there is not *one* exceptional aspect of her resume. She is beyond mediocre compared to RBG’s accomplishments, even at the same age. This is a straight ideology hire, and as such nothing to be proud of. |
Irrelevant. BTW. Corey Booker is wasting his breath. ACB's heart is hardened. |
If you think that denying people rights classy, sure. Oh yea, unless you're a felon, then you can have a gun. |
It must be so disappointing for you that no one has stooped low enough to ask her about involvement in a religious group. |
1. Because it is not a cult. 2. Because it would be applying a religious test to holding public office - something strictly forbidden by our constitution. Having said that, i am a little surprised that Mazie Hirono didn't go there, given her previous ignorant comments. |
| Oh look. ACB unequivocally condemned racism and discrimination of any kind. I guess you detractors can’t keep claiming otherwise. |
+1 You know she was dying to but I imagine her colleagues agreed not to bash ACB about her religion, so she probably had to (reluctantly) acquiescence. |
I've been listening to that question to and she actually doesn't respond to hypotheticals from Republican senators, they are typically asking her to describe the opinion in specific cases. To a casual listener/observer, it seems like she gets into details with them, but not others, but she has been consistent in NOT answering hypothetical questions or questions that could come before her. She's done that to Sen. Tillis, etc. |
Sure, Jan. That’s why she wrote an opinion stating an employer’s use of the n-word does not create a hostile work environment for Black employees. |
Racism, yes. But not against LGBTQ. Like all Republicans, they can't understand anything that doesn't personally affect them. |
Justice Thomas is Black. Having Black children does not prevent you from ruling against their interest. |
I guess you did not hear the explanation for that case. Here is the cliff notes version from Snopes:

I wonder how many of you would ever in a million years graduate first in your law school class, clerked for Justice Scalia, become a law professor at Notre Dame where she received the Distinguished Professor of the Year award three times, be appointed to the Seventh Circuit, and nominated to the SCOTUS. Nothing impressive or exceptional whatsoever about her resume.
