I think he’s gonna triple down after this.

Maybe Kavanaugh will withdraw himself from consideration rather than have the fbi all up in his junk. People are crawling out of the woodwork to talk about his party days.

So they want the FBI to investigate. Does that mean go and get the drunken Judge to testify?
So, what if the government shuts down. Nothing is being done.

And that’s why I just voted for her!

Was a fan before. Am a HUGE fan now. She was excellent yesterday. Her temperament is presidential.

I was impressed. She's got a Minnesota nice demeanor with a sharp mind that's appealing.

Yeah, Trump doesn't want a loser.

From CNN.

JUST IN: The Senate Judiciary Committee just voted to send the Brett Kavanaugh nomination to the floor -- under one condition: Flake will only support it after a brief FBI investigation.
What comes next? Quite frankly, we don't know. This appears unprecedented. The senators are discussing that now.
Calls to delay: Democrats, a few Republican governors and the American Bar Association are urging the committee to halt the vote until an FBI investigation is completed.

Yeah, will be interesting to hear more about these allegations

Will that make everyone happy? Will that satisfy everyone? If nothing is turned up, will you all accept that finding?

They won't. They will somehow say the FBI got it wrong.

We'll see what Trump decides: on the one hand, he's all about denying sexual assault and counterattacking, on the other hand, he doesn't have the best attention span and gets tired of wrangling.

NBC4 news says:
"Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh was appproved by the Senate Judiciary Committee on Friday on an 11-10 party-line vote"

I think the implication is that Flake is a no on the floor vote unless there’s a proper investigation.

Thank you for clarifying.

This is my takeaway too. They advanced it out of committee. McConnell now can postpone the vote to accommodate a 1 week investigation or Flake won't be a Yes.?

But even if Flake votes no, the Senate would be 50-50 and Mike Pence would break the tie. We need one more Senator (Murkowski/Collins) to push for the FBI investigation.

Agree and I support Kavanaugh’s nomination. She was the only D not grandstanding or playing politics.
