Flake wouldn't have done this without cover. IE, Murkowski, Collins and Mancin are with him. If McConnell takes a vote before the investigation is done, then they will all vote no.

This is my takeaway too. They advanced it out of committee. McConnell now can postpone the vote to accommodate a 1 week investigation or Flake won't be a Yes.?
