And, yet, of the two of them, Brad is the more successful one, the one who is still working. Yet, we are to believe that HE is the one going off the rails? Uh, no. |
DP. I'm just crazy angry about what she's doing to those kids. And about those double standards held by Angelina fans: if a celebrity male torched his marriage and tried to publicly shame his wife to deny her custody, all in the pursuit of political ambition, he'd be vilified. She deserves no less. |
Actually that's not true. There are plenty of male performers who have won custody from their wives and not been vilified. Kelly Rutherford, for instance. |
Rutherford's a whole lot less famous and the father of her children is not a celebrity, so bad publicity was not part of anyone's legal strategy. If I recall correctly, she brought the custody ruling against herself by going against court order, years after the couple had been divorced and sharing custody. Not even close to what Angelina has done. |
I'm Team Brad here but still feel the need to point out that Angie just hit the wrong side of 40 which is certainly part of why she's not/she won't work as much going forward. That won't affect Brad until he's like 55. |
Eh. She's still gorgeous (and white) so plenty of roles would be open to her if she could act and didn't have the tinge of crazy. Besides that, much of Brad's Hollywood work in the last fifteen years has been as producer. She's done some of that but not to much success. |

The UNHigh Commission for Refugees, which finally, after nearly $1 million in total donations from AJ, named Jolie a special envoy in 2012.
Not exactly a ringing endorsement of how hard she works for people. She's nuts, and a user. How about this? It's an excerpt from the article PP posted. She spoke of self-harm, rampant drug use — heroin, she said, her favourite — her bisexuality, how much she loved knife-play and S&M, her history of insomnia and eating disorders, of committing herself to the psych ward at UCLA for 72 hours, of suicidal ideations and of once hiring a hit man to kill her before changing her mind. All this by age 22. In 1996, she married British actor Jonny Lee Miller. She said she wed in a white shirt with Miller’s name scrawled in blood on the back. They divorced in 2000, the same year Jolie began cavorting with her brother, James Haven, on red carpets, making out in front of photographers. “I’m so in love with my brother right now,” she said. She's done with Brad, and now wants to trash him. That's pretty much her MO. She clearly thinks more highly of herself than she ought to. |
She's pretty, and she's looked 40ish for the last 6 or 7 years anyway thanks to being skeletal half the time, and smoking. Not to mention previous drug use. She may just stay looking that age for another 10 yrs, but who knows. And she doesn't have the tinge of crazy, she has a full blown case of it.

| I am on Team Jen, so I don't think I can be on Team Brad ever again. But, I do hope they become friends now. I'll never be Team Angie, but I do hope she learns to co-parent more fairly, quietly, and respectfully than she has done this past week -- for the sake of the children. This is the opposite of the Gwyneth/Chris "un-coupling" divorce (that I one day strive to have). It's drama-central! |
She's a narcissistic nutcase who is using the destruction of her own family as a means to keep herself relevant and in the public eye. Pretty darned shameless and low if you ask me. |
So true. In that photo of her in the cream blouse that someone posted up thread, she looks like Ellie Kemper's mom. |
I guess you don't think "Unbroken, Maleficent, By the Sea, and Kung Fu Panda was work. |
| This thread is getting boring and repetitive. Come on people, bring your best game! |
There've been no new juicy leaks to TMZ. All we know is what Jolie has told us, and she didn't tell us much over the weekend. Maybe she'll start on Plan B this week, since Plan A isn't going well. We'll see how that goes. |
I did, go back a page and read it! |
