DP. I'm just crazy angry about what she's doing to those kids. And about those double standards held by Angelina fans:  if a celebrity male torched his marriage and tried to publicly shame his wife to deny her custody, all in the pursuit of political ambition, he'd be vilified. She deserves no less. [/quote]

Actually that's not true. There are plenty of male performers who have won custody from their wives and not been vilified. Kelly Rutherford, for instance.[/quote]

Rutherford's a whole lot less famous and the father of her children is not a celebrity, so bad publicity was not part of anyone's legal strategy. If I recall correctly, she brought the custody ruling against herself by going against court order, years after the couple had been divorced and sharing custody.
