Maddox was the only child she adopted before getting together with Brad. How does that make the rest of them just her children? How would he not have adopted the others? He is their father.

He's not a monster. He's a guy with a substance abuse problem and she loves him. Substance abuse problems get worse over time. People do crazy things to try to get their addict to behave better, including getting married.

And, yet, of the two of them, Brad is the more successful one, the one who is still working. Yet, we are to believe that HE is the one going off the rails? Uh, no.

She's working. She's directed 3 movies recently. She just sucks at it.

I'm not interested in seeing any of her movies at this point. I would love to see Jen make another movie though - that I would go to. Brad, too. But Angelina has jumped the shark for me at least.

I think the Sony leak hurt her. It spoke about the losses and the lack of respect she has as a director. It may have ended things for her along that line, only firming up her desire to pursue the humanitarian track more fully. She's over 40 years old now. It's only normal that she'd reconsider her options. That she's upsetting the entire apple cart to do so, well that's just Angie!!

She underestimated the public's affection for Brad and thought her humanitarian work and mommy persona would mean more. This thread makes it obvious that it doesn't stand up.

I don't think there's anything wrong with leaving a marriage that doesn't suit you. We don't know what's going on there. But, with all of her media savvy (and there's simply no denying that) her miscalculations are going to cost her.

O.k. - then she allowed this horrible man to adopt her child. Why would she do that? And why would she continue to adopt children and get pregnant by such an awful man?

The answer is - she thought that Brad was pretty awesome at one point. In fact, this whole blow up may have been over Angelina being absolutely convinced that Brad was screwing around with another woman and had gotten the other woman pregnant. She felt betrayed, humiliated and most of all furious at him. And she decided to launch some preemptive strikes on him in a fit of jealousy.

Now that the dust is settling and Angelina is finding out that Brad has not gotten another woman pregnant, I really do wonder if she and Brad will make up.

The whole thing seems to be too fiery an incident to happen between two people are completely done with each other. When you are done and over the person you just want it over w/o all the fighting and fireworks.

Maybe. But very few would opt to have a conversation like that aboard a private plane with 6 kids - sounds like pure, unadulterated hell to me. No wonder Brad attempted to escape on a fuel truck.
