There is a lot of evidence that he was brought up in an ultra conservative family and area and that he mostly inhabited a gamer world that is steeped in alt-right ideology. And his friends say he was "apolitical."

For God sake, being gay and having a trans partner - assuming this is true - does not make you a leftist. He was also a staunch supporter of the 2nd amendment which, in a lot of people's minds, makes him a RWNJ.

Can you please drop this issue about the bodyguards? If you want this information you'll have to find it elsewhere. Like in the many videos of the event, you could look at the obvious bodyguards and then try to figure out who they are if it's so very important to you.

Regardless, after this performance I think they'll need to change fields. Better security would mean Charlie Kirk would still be alive.

The identities and hand signals of the body guards matters tremendously here.

It's been reported he confessed to both parents before turning himself in. Why is neither one disputing that?

Meeting was August 4th. Kirk’s interview with Megyn Kelly was August 6th.

Well I’m a mom with kids Tyler’s age and I said yesterday that after reading those texts I knew they were fake because my kids have never once used a period (I checked before I made the claim).

I also don’t believe the JFK one bullet theory, so if that’s conspiracy minded, oh well.

Hopefully the local LEO has looked into this. I would assume they have. But I think it is even safer to assume that the body guards were more concerned with crowd control or someone throwing a punch than a shooter. The school itself had zero security despite Utah laws. Keep in mind that a new state law (HB 128) went into effect in May 2025, allowing people with a concealed carry permit to openly carry firearms on college campuses. And still, neither a checkpoint not a metal detector in sight. They simply were not anticipating anything like this.

We do not know that he confessed, we only know he turned himself in. Presumably he turned himself in because he was the only suspect.

Yeah, I am pretty much anti-conspiracy theory. I can't think of one that I find convincing, including the ones proposed on this thread.

But the texts don't sound like a 22 year old. Period. They don't look like his discord messages either, for that matter.

I have now watched that bodyguard video several times scrutinizing the hand signals. This is beyond strange, it’s concerning. I am no security expert but wouldn’t it be smart for someone to be assigned to observe the rooftops?
