Boundary Review Meetings

I wish good luck to the community members who anticipated having the weekend to prepare for tomorrow’s meeting which is one of their last opportunities to advocate for their kids. In fact, I wish the entire Fairfax county community good luck in having a chance to weigh in without having a clue what the maps are. Not only did they big time miss their deadline, but don’t forget that these community meetings were hastily thrown together and pyramids paired so they could comply with the policy that they themselves threw together last year. It’s all theater and it’s all just a check the box exercise to them. FCPS families are just an annoyance to them.

You deserved better from your school system.

The whole comprehensive boundary project should’ve been paused when they purchased KAA, when they changed the grandfathering policy, when they decided they wanted to change start times, or when they decided they want AAP centers in every middle school. Maybe the School Board finally realized the insanity of continuing to push forward and decided to step in and do something right for once.

Wow, I can’t believe people don’t see that this is intentional. You are all being played. No advance notice, it all comes down to what Reid wants. Thru is a scapegoat. Reid played a masterful game of divide and conquer. She even got the dolts on the SB to get her a team of bodyguards to protect her when you finally realize the whole process was a sham from day one.

The school board has been leading the charge on this debaucle since they were elected.

And, please don't forget: they hired Reid. She works for them--not us and not the students.
Educating the students should be her first priority. Educating the students should be the SB's first priority.

Absolutely no accolades. This is a pet project for some of them. This is one of the first things Sandy wanted upon election.

It could very well be that the delay is because the maps being released are delayed because the school board made changes that are very different than what BRAC was told at their last meeting.

Then they are JUST as bad as Gatehouse. All certain BRAC members do is go on Facebook and NextDoor and complain, complain, complain without sharing any helpful information.
