I’ve been reading there is it seriously gut wrenching. This isn’t the first time promising skaters have been wiped out by a plane crash either.

I looked at Spencer Lane’s insta. He was very talented.

His insta stories show him in the plane. So awful. I am so sad for all involved and the people they’ve left behind.

This is horrible, and I feel so badly for the families and loved ones.

Real question -- is DCA simply unsafe to fly in and out of? Too much traffic over the Potomac to be safe? Was this inevitable? I just checked the upcoming flights I have and they are out of Dulles and I'm tempted to not fly out of DCA again, even though I usually have.

This is wrong. Both hegseth and trump issued statements before 11:00 last night. Not fans of either but this is incorrect.

This is Hegseth’s inspired statement: “DoD actively monitoring. Poised to assist if needed. Prayers for all involved.”

Trump said something about God, since he’s a good Christian.

And as for communicating, you are aware that not all Americans are glued to "X" right? In fact, most Americans still turn to official websites and national news outlets for information. As far as "fast" - it used to be that DoD had a requirement to get basic information out (via press release) an hour after a known Class A mishap.

Not just included - the FIRST thing he talks about, and the crash update is included as a side not on the video title. It’s clear he is abdicating any responsibility he has, predictably.

Ehh, prob not a primary issue or an issue here. If they needed to get the BH back, it was probably offered up and then continued back to original FB base.

It’s a major issue because this is clearly a dangerous intersection and increasing traffic through it increases the risk of an accident. They should only be doing training flights through this corridor after DCA closes for the night, not during the busiest hour. Seems very likely they were there at this time because someone wanted to get home and so called a “protective detail” flight.
