+1 democrats lie to voters too |
hmm, k. Clearly not a serious response because you know the right wing media/politicians are responsible. |
strange what you say about the economy, my 401k looks fantastic. |
If you're rich, economy is great. If you're poor, inflation outstripping cost of living has made things difficult. That's the reality. Democrats are clearly not for poor people. |
And the Trump Republicans are? They only care about the rich. And not rich at all. |
Actually, Kamala Harris did say she wouldn't take a vaccine if that's what Trump recommended. She made it very clear in her debate with Pence that she felt that the rollout of vaccines was politicized and she had no faith in the good intentions of the Trump government. She, more than anyone, is what made vaccines a stupid political issue from the very beginning. Also, it's important to remember that there has long been a general anti-vaccine sentiment among progressives - not just Covid, but all of them. Especially in California. So for Kamala Harris it's very natural to express doubts about science and vaccines because that's the world she comes from. It's like Robert Kennedy Jr. Anti-vaccine sentiment and doubts about science and a belief in conspiracies is extremely common among progressives. |
Well said. Trump (and the private sector) gave us the vaccine. Harris gave us.....epic word salads. |
I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt that you are willfully obtuse, rather than actually stupid, because those diseases are coming from outside of the U.S. and are being imported by travelers (including those here illegally). Right wing media has nothing to do with that. The problem then is that many of the illegal aliens who are pouring across the border willy-nilly are unvaccinated, so they're susceptible to disease and then it spreads. But that's the fault of RWNJs too, right?? |
This is pure bunk. It's not that she didn't trust the vaccine, it's that she didn't trust Trump to follow appropriate processes and procedures for testing the vaccine. And your claim that progressives are anti-vax is also complete bunk. There was FAR more vaccine hesitancy among conservatives than among progressives, and none of us even remotely considers wackjob RFK Jr to be one of us. Stop lying. |
DP.... travelers have ALWAYS come into the country, some of which carried measles and chicken pox. But previously it was not an issue because Americans weren't indoctrinated in bullshit making them irrationally fearful of vaccines and we had sufficient rates of vaccinations to achieve herd immunity. But with all of the MAGA anti-vax conspiracy theories and hysteria, vaccination rates have dropped in many parts of the country and the herd immunity is lost in those communities, causing outbreaks. You're the one being willfully obtuse here. |
The furious barrage of right wing spin here is astounding. But that said it's embarrassing how no matter how much you post, your lies keep getting exposed by other posters. |
If you really believe that the outbreaks are being caused because the children of MAGA parents aren't vaccinated, and that's the issue, then I won't give you the benefit of the doubt. You're just stupid. |
Of course it’s a serious response. We all heard her on national television saying she didn’t trust the vaccine. Are you trying to pretend it didn’t happen? |
Her words are her words. Sorry you are uncomfortable with them now that you are considering making her your presidential candidate. She put politics above the good of the nation with her uneducated and unfounded doubts regarding the vaccine. It was inexcusable to do to the public and absolutely started the cascade of vaccine hesitancy. To deny that is to deny history - we all lived it. |
Totally. That's why airports are full and there's record spending over holidays weekends. Because everyone's so broke right now. Those low low gas prices are just really sticking a thumb in people's eye, too. |
