Even without their FOGO, Robinson managed to beat Braddock twice and a very good Yorktown. Madison got lucky Robinson was down two key players. The poles on the wings of the face off played their hearts out with #5 playing strong and honestly embarrassed this “game winning FOGO”. This team lost 9/10 starters this year and with a team full of skilled juniors I have no doubt they will wipe the floor with madison next year.

5 played his tail off but didn’t embarrass 31. I do think he absolutely outperformed expectation and neutralized the fake off. Madison didn’t have their best player the entire season who will be back. Robo and Madison return the most complete rosters in NOVA and will probably see each other in a few epic battles next year too. These two teams are not wiping the floor with each other.

Coulda, shoulda, woulda…don’t you dare leave that loss on the injured freshman fogo or #4. Yes, very unfortunate neither were in the game, but to say the Robo team would have won if not for them is a horrible thing to print.

Agree that it will be Madison and robinson in the running for it all next year again. Both teams are stacked with very talented 2024’s.

Madison will win this year, and win next year…. Calling a 3peat

This is the most embarrassing post on this board in weeks. And that is saying something. Nothing worse than a sore loser with a bunch of excuses.

Madison beat Robinson twice. No flukes. 4 goal win in state semis. See you again next year for more of the same Rams dad.

I agree. Look. Robinson is good and, actually, ioverachieved to some extent this season. However, do you think just maybe Madison misses #7? Cut the nonsense and give the Warhawks their due please.

Two different teams, Robinson and Yorktown, had key players required to sit post season games due to unsportsmanlike behavior in prior games. In both instances the team lost their next game and the missing players were a factor. So take that as a positive, that disrespecting the game and opposing teams has consequences, and hopefully the parents or coaches that have allowed or encouraged that will learn from it.

Tomorrow at 7:30 but forecast is for more of the same. May affect final being moved off Saturday

Boy, it looks worse outside this morning than yesterday.

Madison actually loses a good amount next year. They lose two starting poles, their faceoff man, top scoring lefty attackman, and basically one complete line of midfielders between their top two offensive lines. No doubt they return very good players and bring back their top attackman from injury, but they will not have the dominance that they had this year. I do agree that Robinson and Madison will be two of the top teams next year. I also see Yorktown dwindling a lot next year and Langley taking the Liberty crown.

Robinson should be tops in Region C next year despite losing some good players. Despite some departures, Madison returns a bunch of great players and should win their region again. Yorktown graduates a ton of starters and agree the door is open for Langley, who brings back almost everyone, but McLean returns a lot too and may be one of the top teams in Region D next year.

Robinson’s problem is that they’ve been champs in their own head and not on the field for a while. Their arrogance always gets them in the end. It did last year with Lake Braddock and again this year. Some humble pie and shutting their pie-holes and maybe they can do something next year. If they want to continue to be j-a’s with posts like this then probably not.

Because one J-A’s post represents a whole organization. Get real. Your post makes you seem bitter for whatever reason

Not a lot of Cosby vs Battlefield chatter. Is that simply because their supporters are more evolved than us and avoid these sacred halls or is there not a lot to say?
