Annalee or Leanna?

A combination of our beloved deceased mothers named Lee and Anna. We love both Annalee and Leanna and can’t decide.

No other options. It is going to be one or the other. And it’s okay if you don’t like either name - it won’t change our minds.

Leanna is more common-ish in that it is sort of close to Leeanne or Leigh Ann or something you might hear/see, sometimes.


Annalee is just too 100% plantation Southern, and I can't.

I like Annalee, but only if pronounced Onnalee. But either way, it’s very close to anally so I’d go with Leanna.

Depends on the middle name and last name. Annalee makes me think of Annabel Lee (Edgar Allen Poe) so I lean that way (Baltimore native). Have you considered Annalise?
