To me Annalee is more southern belle and Leeanna is more redneck hillbilly. Of the two, I would go with Annalee hands down.

Of course other kids can do some awful things with names but I don't think that Annalee automatically sounds like Anally at all and I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that she would be teased for her name. "Ann" and "Ane" are two different sounds.

I'm Annely. The name is also spelled Anneli in Europe. Nobody made fun of it in Europe or here. We also have Annalisa.

Either Leanna or Anna Lee (lee middle name). Definitely not Annalee as one word, too anal - the name is just begging to be abused anally.

I love the name Leanna, and the nickname Lea. It would be on my list if I had a girl. I agree that there are concerns with Annalee, but Anna Lee fixes it. I still like Leanna better though.
