Charlie Kirk shot at Utah Valley University

I think the texts are fake / planted evidence / possibly something like that.

I also think that he actually shot the guy.

Just because Kash Patel has successfully hobbled the FBI and made it unable to conduct a good investigation doesn't mean that he didn't do it.

Can someone summarize the leading conspiracies?

In a nutshell I think Tyler and Lance were hired by Kirk and/or were also CIA. I think they retrieved domestic/foreign intel requested by Kirk. These individuals found out their account has been accessed and data retrieved, they’re tracked down Tyler and Lance via Kirk possibly or who knows. Someone acting as Kirk’s assistant or asset told Tyler to meet him/her on the rooftop that day for something, perhaps payment for retrieval of the data. Tyler went to the rooftop to meet this person, no one showed up, shot was fired, Kirk bled out, Tyler realized people down below were looking at him and pointing, he’s now a suspect.

Interesting. That would explain him running from the roof without the rifle.

I think that's very possible. The story is getting weirder and more complex, though.

Has anyone been following the Bill Akerman Hamptons meeting thing?

The craziest thing about the texts is that they perfectly share the entire picture, whereas in reality they say Tyler is not cooperating with police and isn't saying anything at all. Night and day. Not credible.

The fake texts and other botched missteps do not bode well - either it's an end-to-end setup or it's going to collapse and result in a failed prosecution even if Tyler did do it.

When Trump was inaugurated I had a premonition that he was going to do something to egregious that he would have to resign or be impeached a la Nixon. Covering up (or worse, arranging) the assassination of a popular right wing figure would meet that I think.

Yes, but I think that's unrelated to the shooting.

A party that wants action for the death of one man, but not for thousands of dead school children, has lost its soul.

Not if it shows that Israel was unhappy with Kirk.

If one is a conspiracy theorist, then one would actually believe that a botched prosecution is the goal. Patel has been sandbagging it from the get go, with the "we got him" tweet and then disclosing purported evidence each day since.

It also seems like all the police / FBI have are these texts and the note. Because everything they've put out is basically included in this.

I think it's a given that Israel was unhappy with Kirk. But the line from "Israel was unhappy" to "Israel hired someone to publicly kill him" isn't really at all clear. If they wanted him dead they wouldn't make it happen in such a public setting. They would kill him in a much more subtle / medical looking way.

You mean from a week ago when a man was shot in the jugular in front of a group of college students on live tv?
