The powers that be in the Democratic party are trying to keep Harris as far away from 2024. I daresay it implies they know something about Joe Biden that freaks them out about 2024 and the prospects of Harris running.
|
Recently, when talking about running in 2024, Biden added in the "if I am healthy" caveat. |
I read that as well but he’s already on the record saying he will definitely run in 2024. At this rate I’d be amazed if he serves his full term. |
It's totally the Democrats' own fault. They've kicked the can down the road for years. At some point that won't work and we might have problems that dwarf even those imagined by the worst of the DJT-derranged crowd. |

The plan is for Harris to quietly accept her political days are over and to bankroll her new career as a policy talking head with lucrative contracts and fat book advances and some respectable daytime occupation as the figurehead of a think thank and a couple board seats. The Democratic graft and money machine as usual. They know they cannot spend her way into winning office in 2024. She would go down in devastating defeat. Still, it's all very intriguing. Because it's happening so soon into Biden's term. This isn't the year before the election but three years before! But it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out there may be genuine health problems being kept from us. I do wonder if Biden really has health concerns and it's finally admitted in, say, winter 2023-2024, everyone will know the Democrats lied for years about it and used the media handlers to hide the obvious truth and that could have significant implications for the party's electoral chances in 2024. The Republicans would crow at every opportunity and portray the entire Democratic leadership as deliberately hoodwinking the American public while propping up a puppet figurehead in the WH. Democrats are trapped one way or another, but getting Harris out as soon as possible and a clear replacement as Biden's heir apparent the best way forward. If they are to even manage to salve any chances of victory. |
| Harris should have stayed in the Senate. But she obviously thinks she has what it takes to be the Big Kahuna. I wonder if she is willing to listen to the people around her regarding the likelihood of that. Or if anyone is willing to be honest about it. |
She never cared about the Senate. She only viewed it as a springboard to the White House. |
Smart enough to graft her way to the Senate but not smart enough to understand she'd never be president and that it's better being a lifetime senator from California with no real accountability or oversight than exposed as a political hack in the limelight of being VP and heir in waiting to the presidency. Interesting. |
| All these dumb white a fail up like Quayle, but a black woman has to be five times better to get half the respect. |
|
Kah-mah-lah. Kah-mah-lah Harris.
She’s tough. She’s tough. She was yelling at the guy, Charlemagne. Is that his name? Shakespeare The Great? So we’ll have to see. We’ll have to see what happens. |
Look at what happened to Quayle: ceaselessly mocked during his tenure as VP, national joke on television and fodder for Saturday Night Live. I was only in middle school but I remember the schoolyard cracks about Dan Quayle and his misspelling of potato(e). Can't get worse than that. I suppose it is an interesting debate. Who is dumber? Kamala Harris or Dan Quayle? Hard to tell. |
Perhaps equally stupid but Harris has a broken personality and zero charisma. Quayle was like a dopier version of Bush. |
Quayle actually misspelled a word. The mocking was justified. Harris hasn't misspelled anything. She just happens to be a woman of color. |
So a mispelled work is the only blunder or gaffe worth mocking? You new to politics or something? |
