It doesn't. It is silent on that. |

I knew she was no good when she would come to meet POTUS.
Meghan cannot stand testosterone and has turned Harry into the prince of soy. |
I am taken with it because of all the monarchies, the British Monarchy had been the most functional. Despite its skeletons, like many families have, it was a symbol of duty and honor. I'll allow, some of it may be in my own way of viewing it in my head, but these people like Markle, and Diana before her, appear to have no idea of the significance of the concept of what it means to be born to that privilege, because it also has a duty component. |
| OMG I cannot believe the amount of vitriol and outrage on this thread. You people need to find a better hobby than hating Meghan. |
How much more coddling does Megan need? Kate’s doing fine. |
| I posted this on the family relationships board and it got deleted. The royal family is the ultimate example og scapegoating and having golden children. First they do it within the family and then as spouses come in they do it to spouses. Meghan is the ultimate scapegoat and Kate is miss golden child. Meghan may indeed be self absorbed and messed up. She was raise din dysfunction. However, to make her out be more of a monster than Andrew is so disturbing on so many levels. |
I don’t blame Diana for not wanting to play second fiddle to a mistress. |
For members of the Trump cult, everything must be viewed through the Trump lens, of course. |
| I have no idea what the Frogmore renovations looks like, but I picture them as not being historically accurate. |
| Kate has a sister. Hammer head Harry choose the divorcee |
The Sussex Foundation trademarked using its logo/name on tons of merch like hats, tshirts, blankets, jewelry etc. true information. |

I like some of the #Megxit terms and headlines I've come across:
Chicago Tribune: "Northwestern Alum moves closer to home after some time abroad." Canadian satire site: "Local actress successfully deprograms member of hereditary cult." |
Funny - so did Prince Charles with Duchy Originals. Have you seen his merch? You can buy it at any grocery store.

I'm British, hi! I don't speak for all of us though. Personally, FWIW, I think: 1. It's fair enough that they would want to leave, and in fact many people have been telling them to do just that for ages. 2. I think it was really inappropriate to post their message without having discussed it properly with the Queen and Prince Charles. They essentially work for a (family) firm and just like in any job, it is inappropriate to post something public about your plans to leave before discussing it with your boss. 3. I think their announcement begs many more questions than it answers - what will it mean to be financially independent? How will they be able to carry out royal duties if they also earn money from other sources without compromising the need for royalty not to benefit personally (i.e. I think it would be problematic for them to be "influencers" and do adverts, and then also continue their patronages of certain charities). 4. I generally quite like them, but I think they come across as very whiny and entitled in this whole thing. I would check out this mumsnet thread (the UK equivalent of DCUM) if you want to see what other Brits are thinking: https://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/3790218-harry-stepping-down-as-a-royal-family-member?pg=1 |
Same here. This is like a British telenova. I’m living it and can’t wait to see the fallout. BBC is reporting the Queen asked Harry to delay the announcement and he did it anyway.
